The main problem with Art of Magic is that you have to get past the first enemy wizard. After that map, the game tends to be just like M&M 1 ! The problem with the first wizard is that they made him a bit too hard. But after him the game rolls on and the landscape peels back and the music fills the air and its quite like M&M 1 except with 3d gfx.
For me, M&M 2's gfx is better than the sound. It has the same intricately detailed and culturally rich artowrk and mapping as M&M 1. It has the same engaging plot. The dialogue is scottish and so on but thats ok for me. Its a new sound
So Im sort of halfway through it and enjoying slowly unravelling the puzzles in each map and the tough enemies. And also enjoying the extra special bonuses for high xp monster summons. The trolls eat corpses to heal and the female Ents can heal at high level !
So lots of things to discover still and am looking forward to meetign the really tough monsters - vampires, and other evil stuff !
